You’ll need:

A deck of cards (or Uno set)
Your favourite bottle(s) of wine
A classic playlist to set the mood

If you decide on Uno, you can add a wine twist by turning a ‘draw +2’ card into a rule where your opponent takes two sips, and for ‘draw +4’, it’s four sips. Stack Cup

With all players standing around the table, place all but two of the cups in the middle of the table and fill them with wine. The other two empty cups are placed at either end of the table in front of two people.

From here, you want to try to bounce the ball onto the table and into the cup in front of you as quickly as you can. Once it goes in, move it clockwise around the table.

The aim is to try to catch the other cup and, if you do, the person who was caught needs to drink a cup of wine from the middle!

You’ll need:

As many plastic cups as you want to use
Two ping pong balls
A large table
Around two to three bottles of wine (or more… we don’t judge)

After the person drinks, the cup that was taken from the middle should be stacked under the one moving around the table – this makes it harder as the game goes on.

P.S. if you get the ball in first go, you can move your cup anywhere on the table (we recommend using this opportunity to put it right behind the other cup, so they get caught faster).

Wine Checkers

Checkers is a classic game and adding the element of wine makes it all the more interesting.

The first step is to understand how to play checkers. It’s actually pretty straight forward. If you’ve never played before or the rules are a bit fuzzy, you can find a step-by-step guide here.

You’ll need:

24 shot glasses (you can buy plastic ones)
One bottle of red wine
One bottle of white wine
A checkers board (can be bought from Kmart, Target or Amazon)

Fill 12 shot glasses with white wine and 12 shot glasses with red wine – those will be your checkers. The only difference between wine checkers and a regular game of checkers is that if you lose a piece, you drink the wine. When a piece gets ‘kinged,’ your opponent must drink the wine before refilling the glass (you can mark this by using a straw or cocktail umbrella). Follow the regular game rules and you’re off and running.
